For parents of teenagers
Plot Twist Studio is a private coaching space grounded in behavioral science, leadership principles, and real parenting wisdom — that helps you figure out who you want to be, and shows up in the moments when that's hard to remember.

Which feels closest to where you are?
And some days — some moments — the gap between how much you love them and how much they can actually feel it is the hardest thing you've ever navigated. That gap is what this app is built to close.
Most parenting resources tell you what to do. Plot Twist Studio helps you figure out who you want to be — grounded in your own values, your own family, your own definition of showing up.
How it works
The ARC framework is the spine of everything in the app. You can work through it in ten minutes or dig in for an hour. It meets you where you are.
Who am I in this? What do I actually value? What kind of parent do I want to be — and what does that look like right now, in this hard moment?
What story am I telling about this? What's a different way to see it — one that gives me more room to breathe and to act from my best self?
Where's the evidence of my devotion? What small thing can I do today to show up? And how do I celebrate the fact that I'm trying at all?
See it for yourself
Walk through an actual hard parenting moment — the way the app does. Three ways of seeing it, a feeling that names itself, and a reflection that's actually yours. Takes about three minutes.

The Relate feature
The app doesn't tell you how to see what happened. For each perspective you explore — the teen's view, your future self, the most generous read — it shows you three versions of that story: the one that tightens, the neutral read, and the one that opens. You choose which feels closest, name the feeling it brings up, and work out what that feeling makes you want to do.
What actually happened — the camera-observable facts, no story attached yet.
You choose which of three reads feels truest to where you are right now.
Two-level drill from broad to specific — Hopeful → Curious. Words matter here.
How would that feeling show up in how you act? Honest naming is where change starts.
What does that usually create in the relationship? Now you can choose something different.
Here's what you responded to.
Feeling: Hopeful → Curious
Acts as: "I want to ask a question instead of making a statement."
The five core practices
Original framework from the Plot Twist Parenting podcast — the five practices that research and experience show actually move the needle with teenagers.
Decreasing distance increases influence. Stay close — not to control, but to matter.
Values are roots, not rules. Knowing yours creates clarity that holds you steady.
A two-way street. Being trustable. And trusting them to become who they're becoming.
Not a mood — a practiced choice. Fun is not frivolous. It is infrastructure.
A decision made and remade every day. Not permissiveness. A presence that never walks away.
What's inside
Every feature was built around a real moment parents face. Not a generic wellness app — a tool made specifically for the season you're in right now.
Weekly one-on-one time, structured so you actually follow through. Before and after flows, reflection prompts, and a record of every time you showed up.
Name the concerns you're carrying and let the app hold them. Active, simmering, resolved — a timeline of what you worked through and how your thinking shifted.
A 28-question assessment across seven dimensions of your relationship. Track how things shift over time — not as a score, but as a picture.
Every session ends with one small, concrete thing you can do. Tracked, celebrated, and never used against you if you miss one.

Former behavior analyst · Corporate leader · Community advocate · Mother of two launched teenagers
🎙️ Listen to the Plot Twist Parenting podcast →I started the Plot Twist Parenting podcast because I've been in the trenches — as a behavior analyst, a corporate leader, a PTSO chair, a community advocate, and a mom who has sat in the hard seats that parents of teenagers sit in.
My community has been touched by student deaths from suicide. I've watched families fracture not from lack of love, but from lack of tools. There is a gap between how much parents love their kids and how much their kids can feel it.
Plot Twist Studio is the app version of what I teach on the podcast — grounded in neuroscience, behavioral science, leadership thinking, and the kind of wisdom that only comes from actually doing this work.
You are not starting from scratch. And you don't have to figure this out alone.
You don't have to feel like a connected, grounded, intentional parent. You just have to show up. The app is built to carry you on the days when that's hard. Join the waitlist for early access.
